To say I love working on inspiration shoots would be a total understatement. When Matt & I first started our company, we agreed that we would try the best that we can to make something work for us long term. Working in the wedding and event industry gives you so many great opportunities to work and meet other creative individuals. We both have met some of our, now, closest friends just by networking and working on other inspiration shoots. Our first inspiration shoot is still one of my favorites. I remember thinking, “This is probably not going to come together how I want, and no one will want to be involved.” What a lie that was! I worked on planning this shoot with my good friend, Erica Marr of Erica Marr Films. We both wanted the opportunity to showcase some of our talent in an aspect that we haven’t been able to yet. We came up with a really dreamy watercolor inspired shoot with some unique and custom details, vintage dresses and beautiful florals!
We had first reached out to Tiffany Egbert with Tiffany Egbert Photography to see if she would be interested in taking the photographs for the shoot. I knew Tiffany from my group of friends and we had shared in plenty the dance party before I decided to get involved in the wedding and event industry. She was totally down to be a part of the shoot and that was the moment I realized that we could really make this turn out to be something cool. Not just cool, but a great opportunity for us to get our names out there and meet some other vendors in Arizona; build a bit more community.
The shoot took place at Tremaine Ranch and we knew we should figure out a way to incorporate the rustic and vintage feel to the shoot. We needed everything to work together to make something great! Tiffany Egbert provided a stunning 1940’s vintage bridal gown for the shoot, which worked out perfectly. We also had some beautiful hair pieces donated by Mignnone Handmade. We had a handful of other great vendors, who are mentioned below. Erica Marr made a beautiful film, which you can view at the bottom. Enjoy looking at the pictures from this pretty Orange & Pink Watercolor inspired shoot and tell us what you think. Cheers!
