If you follow our work at all, you know that we love all sorts of different styles for events & weddings. We love going all out, but also love the simple designs that focus on the purpose of the event as well. When Kaitlin reached out to us to rent our geometric triangle backdrop and some simple table numbers, we knew that we were going to be playing a very small role in this wedding by adding unique details to this very special day. Soho 63 was the perfect canvas for this beautiful event where close friends & family played a huge role in the entire night. From the four hour dance party (which, by the way, we are BIG fans of dance parties) to the dream team of wedding vendors that the bride & groom chose to work with for this very special day in their lives, this one takes the cake on a beautifully done event that means more to Kaitlin & Tyler than you or I could ever imagine.
From the bride:
“For us, the most special part of the day was the involvement of our close friends. One of our best friends and former roommate officiated the ceremony which made it feel so much more personal than if we had hired someone else. We also utilized a close friend as the DJ. Initially we were worried that he would be too busy “working” at the wedding to enjoy himself, but we were so wrong! The music he played was so in tune with our group of friends. It was an epic four hour dance party. Another close family friend (who happened to own an amazing catering company) hooked us up with the most delicious food for the evening. Having people who actually knew us involved in such important aspects of our wedding was hugely important to us and it paid off. SO. MUCH. FUN. We also got supremely lucky with the group of vendors we chose. Everyone was an absolute dream to work with! No wedding is perfect, of course things will go wrong, but at the end of the day over 200 of our closest friends and craziest family members were all in one place to celebrate US. That’s pretty damn amazing.”
Congratulations again, Kaitlin & Tyler! Cheers!
