Matt and I were apart of an incredible event on Thursday, September 10th, called The Big Fake Wedding. We were so thrilled to have this great opportunity and couldn’t be happier with the night. The Big Fake Wedding is an opportunity for vendors to create a unique event, celebrating a real life couple who renew their vows. What a cool concept, right? We met some insanely talented individuals who make the Arizona wedding & event industry what it is. We were in charge of a vintage lounge set up for the event. Our vintage lounges are headed towards a more ‘mid-century’ style, and this was our chance to show off a few of our new items.
We scored some killer peacock chairs super last minute from a local antique shop called Merchant Square. We were actually hunting for some different types of area rugs and side tables, but these bad boys stood out like a sore thumb and needed to join our collection. A huge shout out to one of our favorite friends and vendors in Arizona, Hoot & Holler, who supplied some beautiful florals for our lounge set up. Thanks, Malori!!
We recently added some beautiful garden style bistro chairs that we were fortunate to use as part of this event. One of the best parts about The Big Fake Wedding is that it is a great opportunity to work with other creatives that are involved with the event. Matiana Mitchell with Matiana Mitchell Designs and Dang! Fine Rentals had messaged us and asked if she would be able to use some of our new bistro chairs to complete a couple of her different table designs. Of course we said yes! These looked like they were made for the tables from Dang! Fine Rentals. We are looking forward to partnering up with Matiana in the future.
The theme was a super colorful ‘fiesta’ vibe. The host venue was Warehouse 215 at Bentley Projects. The way that all of the vendors worked together to transform this space was absolutely incredible.

One of the things that I loved most about The Big Fake Wedding, was their concept of the “tunnel of love”. The “tunnel of love” is designed for all of the vendors to set up a highboy cocktail table with information on their company, favors to pass out to guests and a place to stand and represent who your company is and why you do what you do. I really loved this! It was a great chance for guests, potential clients and new vendors to meet us and get to know who we are. One of the things we wanted to bring to the event was a favor that represented our company, our talent and our style. So, we decided on bringing coaster sets. Each set had 4 hand cut and sanded wooden coasters. We had brought about 100 sets and left with 0. They were a huge hit and we were so glad that everyone enjoyed the favor. We can’t say enough about The Big Fake Wedding and their incredible concept. If you get a chance to attend, we highly recommend you do so.
